How many of you would be interested in joining competitions?
Any ideas for the competitions? Would someone be willing to donate the prizes for the winners like points or comissions?
Any interested admins to make this competition possible?
Or would you be interested in becoming an admin and help us with the competitions?

we are going to change our submission system.
We are going to make a new folder "SUBMIT HERE" because we have had a huge problem with people submitting to the wrong folders.
Our admins will sort the art to the right folders.
I hope this will make everyone's life easier.

From this one we are not accepting badly taken pictures about your work. We still don't have any quality limits for art so every skill level is accepted.
Only the quality of the photo might become a reason for a decline.
So please no dark blurry pics where you can't even see what is in there. Please use a blank paper and not some notebook page with stripes.

And we won't be accepting OC humans/anthro anymore since they are so far away from the original series.

What if it's something that's drawn traditionally, but given digital edits/color-enhancements, like the stuff in my gallery? Because that's how I do things, so I wanna be sure whether it's ok or not.

Honestly, it depends on the edits. If it's something like contrast, brightness, or very moderate color tweaks that's understandable; to get a digital copy looking the way it does in person, those are sometimes needed. However, things beyond that such as selective/heavy color edits, lots of text, etc are not allowed.

Hopefully that explains it well enough for you aha. Thank you for asking!

It still looks traditional even with the color edits, which is just color enhancement using the photoshop color-replacement tool. I use it to make the colors brighter and a little more accurate.

What you describe is okay, as it is intended to make the drawings looks the way they are supposed to normally, and is not outright and blatant (also, there's no real way to tell whether or not such edits were made with absolute certainty). However, some of your work has clear digital text, fancy borders, and in some cases other tiny little bits and pieces added. This we generally do not accept, but your other work is fine. Sorry, but we must uphold our standards.

Do y'all need help?
YoMilbert Featured By Owner Sep 5, 2014  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
That would be great actually ^^

Ok what can I do to help?

If you're interested, you could become a a Contributor, to get the hang of things first. Perhaps later you could become a dedicate sorter if you like and leave the submissions to others if you prefer, or vice versa. Granted, it's a bit backed up here right now, but don't worry. I've been inactive lately but I'm trying to get back in the loop of things. Does that sound good? :D
